Delivery

Pioneer Qualifications allows centers the flexibility to deliver qualifications in a manner that best suits their learners’ needs. While no specific mode of delivery is mandated, centers must prioritize a holistic learning experience when designing their programs.

Centers are required to ensure their delivery methods avoid any form of unlawful discrimination and actively promote equal opportunities. Wherever possible, measures should be implemented to address any barriers or inequalities faced by learners. Guided Learning Hours (GLH), specified in each unit, provide an indication of the teacher-supervised or direct study hours typically required to teach that unit effectively.

Assessments and Verification

All units within Pioneer Qualifications are internally assessed by the center and externally verified by Pioneer Qualifications. These qualifications follow a criterion-referenced approach, requiring learners to meet all specified learning outcomes.

To achieve a ‘pass’ in a unit, learners must provide evidence demonstrating they have met all the required learning outcomes and assessment criteria. The Assessor is responsible for evaluating whether the learner has fulfilled these requirements.

The Assessor must also provide an audit trail documenting the process used to determine the learner’s overall achievement. This ensures transparency, consistency, and fairness in the assessment process.
